In September, we celebrated Give Big Month—30 days to roll up our sleeves and support nonprofits across Michigan. This year, with members like you volunteering beside us, we broke all previous records with an unprecedented 2,035 volunteer hours. But we are not stopping there. We Give Big year-round and invite all our members to join us. Check out the Member Volunteer Program. Find your thing, rock your own hours, and make the world a little brighter, all your way. Together, we can continue to set new records and make a meaningful difference all year long.
On July 31, the Community Choice Foundation provided 3,200 backpacks filled with school supplies to students. From Wyandotte to Muskegon, students kicked off the school year by getting the essentials they need to succeed. Thank you to members and sponsors who contributed to this effort - your generosity helped thousands of students start the year on the right foot.

Ida makes a big impact by jumping in wherever help is needed—showing that volunteering can be flexible, fun, and truly rewarding. The Community Choice Foundation has been named a finalist in the 2025 Community Impact Luminary Awards by Credit Union Times! This honor highlights the heart of our mission— to make a positive difference in our communities. Through our grant awards and volunteer programs, we partner with hundreds of local non-profits to Give Big in many ways.
